Check 3: Idle Plunger dirty.
Change Idle Plunger to give a square fit with governor
plunger (use same Idle Plunger code number).
Idle Plunger worn.
Clean Idle Plunger mating face of foreign material.
Check 4: Governor Plunger dirty.
Change Governor Plunger to give a square fit with Idle
Governor Plunger worn.
Clean fuel passages so they are all open.
Check 5: Blocked fuel passages.
Check governor assembly for proper assembly.
Check 6: Faulty governor assembly.
Check pump for right or left hand rotation and set test
Check 7: Pump turning wrong direction.
Open test stand flow valve to allow fuel to enter gear pump.
Check 8: F low valve not open.
