Antiseizing tape must be used on all pipe threads to provide a good seal and to prevent threaded parts
from seizing.
NOTE
For more information on how to use antiseizing tape, go to General Maintenance Instructions (page 2-
424).
Air line is in three sections, see tags for correct locations.

Air dryer (1)
90-degree elbow (2)
Wrap pipe threads with antiseizing tape.
15.
90-degree elbow (2)
Air line (3)
a.
Screw on and tighten using 15/16-inch
open-end wrench.
b.
Take off tag.
c.
Get rid of tag.
NOTE
Step 15 is typical for two clamp assemblies.

Clamp bracket (4)
Clamp (5), clamp
a.
Put clamp (5) around air line and
and air line (3)
(6), screw (7), new
position with clamp (6) on clamp
lockwasher (8), and

Screw in and tighten using 7/16inch
box-end and 7/16-inch open-end

Wrap both male pipe threads with
antiseizing tape.

Take tag off air hose.

Get rid of tag.

line nut (15)
15/16-inch open-end wrenches.

Take tag off air line.

Get rid of tag.
