Dry cleaning solvent is flammable and must not be
used near open flame. Use only in a well-ventilated
area.

REMOVAL
1.
Remove snapring (1) and third clutch backing plate
(2) from transmission housing (6).
NOTE
One external tooth clutch plate (last to
be removed) Is slightly thicker than
others. Note location of thicker plate for
Installation.
2.
Remove four clutch plates (3), three external tooth
clutch plates (4), and one external tooth clutch plate
(5).
