Cooling system drained (page 2-628).

Using 1/4-inch flat-tip screwdriver,
loosen.

screw and take out.

Get rid of lockwashers.

Turn counterclockwise to clear front
water manifold.

Take off.

Using gasket scraper, scrape off all old
gasket material.

Get rid of gasket.

Using 1/4-inch flat-tip screwdriver,
loosen.

Transmission oil

WARNING
Drycleaning solvent P-D-680 is toxic and flammable. Wear protective safety
goggles and gloves and use only in a well-ventilated area. Avoid contact with skin,
eyes, and clothes and do not breathe vapors. Do not use near open flame or
excessive heat. The flashpoint for type #1 drycleaning solvent is 100F (38C) and
for type #2 is 138°F (59C). If you become dizzy while using cleaning solvent, get
fresh air immediately, and get medical aid. If contact with eyes is made, flush your
eyes with water and get medical aid immediately.
