Antiseizing tape must be used on all pipe threads to provide a good seal and to prevent threaded parts
from seizing.

Wipe clean using wiping rag.

Wrap pipe threads with antiseizing tape.

Screw in and tighten using 112-inch
square key.

Using lubricating bucket pump, fill through
transmission (1)
filler plug hole until oil comes out
(LO 5-3805-254-12).

Filler plug (3)
a.
Wipe clean using wip ing rag.
b.
Wrap threads with antiseizing tape.
c.
Screw in and tighten using 15/16-inch
open-end wrench.
