Adjusting nut
Put on and aline hole in adjusting nut lock
lock (2)
with pin (3) on adjusting nut (4).
If hole and pin do not aline, tighten
adjusting nut to nearest hole and push
adjusting nut lock into place.

Locknut (5)

Screw on until snug.

Torque to 250 ft lb (350 N.m) using 4-
inch, 3/4-inch drive socket and 0 to 600
ft lb (0 to 814 N.m) torque wrench.

Rear hub (6)
New outer seal
Put in position on axle flange studs (9).
gasket (7) and new
outer seal (8)

New axle flange
Put in position on axle flange studs (9).

Axle (11)

Push in and aline axle flange (12) holes
with axle flange studs (9) on rear
hub (6).

Push into position.

Eight lock collars

Put on.
(13) and eight new

Tighten on alternate sides using 15116-
self-locking nuts (14)
inch, 1/2-inch drive socket and ratchet
handle.

Air brake
Caging bolt (16)
Tighten fully using 3/4-inch, 1/2-inch drive
chamber (15)
deep socket and ratchet handle.

Cover (17)
Push on.
