GENERATOR REPAIR (Con’t).

TEST AND DISASSEMBLY
1.
Remove fan (4) from shaft of rotor (2).
2.
Remove four bolts (5) and end (1) from housing (3).
3.
Remove collar (9) and rotor (2) from housing (3).
4.
Connect multimeter to two slip rings (12). If reading is high (infinite), winding Is open and rotor (2) must be replaced.
