GENERATOR REPAIR (Con’t).
20. Remove two insulated screws (21) and plastic sleeves (41) and inspect sleeves. If sleeves are not missing or
damaged, replace regulator.
21. Remove brush holder (22).
22. Remove screw (38), lockwasher (39), and retainer (40) from end (1). Discard lockwasher.
23. Remove regulator (37) from end (1).

ASSEMBLY
1.
Install regulator (37) to end (1).
2.
Install retainer (40), new lockwasher (39), and screw (38).
3.
Install brush holder (22).
4.
Install two plastic sleeves (41) and insulated screws (21).
