WARNING
Exhaust system parts become very hot when engine is running. Allow time for parts to
cool before working on exhaust system. Hot exhaust system parts will cause serious
burns.

Exhaust diverter (1)
Four locknuts (2),

Using 3/4-inch box-end wrench, un-
exhaust shield plate
screw and take off.

Get rid of locknuts.

Lift off exhaust shield plate and springs.
