WARNING
Exhaust system parts become very hot when engine is running. Allow time for parts to cool
before working on exhaust system. Hot exhaust system parts will cause serious burns.
Assistant must support muffler to prevent falling and causing personal injury.

Loop clamp (1)
Two nuts (2)
Using 9/16-inch box-end wrench, unscrew
and two flat
and take off.

Take off.

Using 5/8-inch and 11/16-inch box-end
washer (8),
wrenches, unscrew and take out.

NOTE
Hold lower support while performing next step.

Get rid of lockwashers.

Take off.
