Install adjusting washer (66) on cross-shaft (60)
with three screws (67). Torque screws to 69 lb.-
ft. (94 N-m). Install new lockwire to screw
heads
NOTE
Shims In step 11 control preload torque.
11.
Install original shims (51).
12.
Install bearing retainer plate (52) to differential
carrier (2) with six bolts (53). Torque bolts to 76
lb.-ft. (103 N-m). Install new lockwire to bolt
heads.
