REMOVAL - Continued
WARNING
Provide adequate ventilation and personal protective equipment before starting any
welding operation (TM 9-237). Contact your unit/local Industrial Hygienist or Safety Officer
for assistance. Failure to comply may result in personnel injury or death.
CAUTION
Before welding, the following components must be disconnected: engine Electronic Control
Unit (ECU), Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) ECU, Central Tire Inflation System (CTIS) ECU,
Datalogger, and batteries (TM 9-2320-363-20-1, TM 9-2320-363-20-2,
TM 9-2320-302-20-1, or TM 9-2320-302-20-2). Failure to comply may result in damage to
equipment.

If stabilizer is damaged, it may be removed at this time. Refer to TM 9-237 for instructions on welding
components.
