Initial Setup:
Equipment Conditions:
• Batteries disconnected (TM 9-2320-363-20).
• MCS tailgate cover removed (paragraph 4-53).
Tools/Test Equipment:
• General mechanic’s tool kit (Item 8, Appendix I)
Materials/Parts:
• Marker tags (Item 19, Appendix F)
• Four self-locking nuts
l Tie wraps (as required)

REMOVAL
NOTE
• Wires should be tagged before disconnecting (paragraph 4-17).
• Note location of tie wraps and routing of wiring harness prior to removal to aid
in installation.

Disconnect wiring harness connector (3) from truck-to-MCS tailgate wiring harness receptacle (2) at left
dump body pillar (1).
