Remove four screws (7) and pull cover plate
(5) away from dump body pillar (1).
Remove two self-locking nuts (4) and screws
(6) securing truck-to-MCS tailgate wiring har-
ness receptacle (2) to cover plate (5). Discard
self-locking nuts.

Disconnect truck-to-MCS tailgate wiring harness (9) from chassis wiring harness (8).
5.
Remove truck-to-MCS tailgate wiring harness (9).
